Dr. Kalan is a highly trained Reproductive Endocrinologist who is part of the fertility specialist team at Los Angeles Reproductive Center, a participating provider in the WINFertility Network.
Education and Certification
Dr. Kalan earned his bachelors of science in Aquatic Biology from the University of California at Santa Barbara and his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School at the Roslyn Franklin University of Health Sciences. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at LAC-USC Medical Center, Los Angeles.
He is double-board-certified in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility and Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Kalan serves on the faculty at the University of Southern California as a Clinical Adjunct Associate Professor and at the Yo San University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
He is also an accomplished micro-surgeon who is an expert at tubal reanatomosis (tubal reversal).
He has been published extensively on topics such as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and IVF laboratory conditions, for which he won the University of Southern California’s Fellow Research Award. He is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, Society of LAC-USC Medical Center, Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and the American college of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Kalan is the recipient of numerous awards including “Patient Choice”, “Compassionate Doctor Recognition” and “American Top OB/GYN”. He is fluent in Spanish.
