Dr. Sekhon is a highly-trained Reproductive Endocrinologist who is part of the fertility specialist team at RMA of New York, a participating provider in the WINFertility Network.
Education and Certification
Dr. Sekhon earned her bachelor of science degree at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. She received her medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, where she graduated with honors. Dr. Sekhon completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at the Mount Sinai Health System, where she also served as administrative chief resident, and had an elective residency in Reproductive Endocrinology and Fertility at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital/Harvard Medical School. She completed her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai/RMA of New York fellowship program.
She is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and board-eligible in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
Dr. Sekhon is an assistant clinical professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She is a fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and an active member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
Her research interests include personalized medicine, genetics, and embryonic gene expression networks and has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals. She specializes in diagnosing and treating reproductive issues and has particular expertise in fertility preservation (egg freezing), LGBTQ family building, and in vitro fertilization with preimplantation genetic testing of embryos.
