Erica Louden, MD, PhD
Dr. Louden is a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialists at VIOS Fertility Institute, a participating provider in the WINFertility Network.
Education and Certifications
Dr. Louden earned her medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine. She had previously earned a PhD in cellular biology at Clark Atlanta University and carried out post-doctoral studies at Washington University in St. Louis. After earning her medical degree, Dr. Louden completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Wayne State University and a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Augusta University. She is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and board-eligible in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
Experience
Dr. Louden is a highly skilled scientist who has authored articles for several journals and textbooks, and has had her research covered in peer-reviewed publications. Her research focuses on access to care for cancer patients and infertile patients, as well as a novel mechanism for preserving primordial oocytes during chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
