Dr. Ghadir is a highly trained Reproductive Endocrinologist who is part of the fertility specialist team at Southern California Reproductive Center (SCRC), a participating provider in the WINFertility Network.
Education and Certification
Dr. Ghadir earned his bachelor’s degree cum laude in psychology from UCLA, and his medical degree from the Central University School of Medicine, graduating summa cum laude and first in his class.
He completed his residency in Obstetrics, and Gynecology at Kaiser Pemanente Medical Center, Los Angeles, and his three-year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the combined UCLA and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center program.
He is double-board-certified in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility and Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Ghadir is a Founding Shareholder of Southern California Reproductive Center. He is also an Assistant Clinical Professor at both the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and Keck School of Medicine at USC.
He has appeared on ABC News, BBC News, Telemundo and Univision Nightly News as an expert speaker in numerous topics including preimplantation genetic diagnosis, egg freezing and embryo transfer. Dr. Ghadir was a consultant for the infertility section of the bestselling pregnancy guide, “What to Expect When You’re Expecting.” He was featured in a Los Angeles Times article entitled, “Doctors Who Still Answer Your Calls”.
Dr. Ghadir has given presentations and published research papers in peer-reviewed journals including Fertility and Sterility and The New England Journal of Medicine, as well as clinical journals such as Sexuality, Reproduction & Menopause. He is also a contributing author for infertility section of the new McGraw-Hill reference, Current Obstetric & Gynecologic Diagnosis and Treatment.
He is a volunteer speaker with Fertile Hope, a national nonprofit organization providing education, support and hope for cancer patients whose medical care raises risks of infertility. He also serves as a speaker for the Healthy Family Community Awareness Lecture Program and Extend Fertility, a woman-run company that provides egg freezing services.
Dr. Ghadir is a member of the American Society for Reproduction, and a fellow at American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has received numerous awards and honors including a Distinguished Residency Teaching Award, Community Services Recognition Award and a Patients’ Choice Award.
His fluency in English, Spanish and Farsi and his lifetime of interactions with the diverse communities of Los Angeles, give him a unique cultural prospective and sensitivity that puts his patients at ease.
