Dr. Bernhisel is a highly trained Reproductive Endocrinologist who is part of the fertility specialist team at the Utah Center for Reproductive Medicine, a participating provider in the WINFertility Network.
Education and Certification
Dr. Bernhisel received his undergraduate degree in biology, his medical degree and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Utah. He completed his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at Duke University, North Carolina. He is double-board-certified in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility and Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Bernhisel served as an Assistant Clinical Professor and later became the Chief of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and infertility at the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, FL.
Prior to returning to the University of Utah, he was in private practice for 25 years in the Tampa Bay area at Reproductive Medicine Group (RMG). RMG, was consistently among the practices with the highest pregnancy rate for in vitro fertilization in the state of Florida. Dr. Bernhisel served as the director of the IVF program, IVF lab and clinical labs at RMG for the last 15 years.
He is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has been the recipient of the Patients Choice Award and Compassionate Doctor Recognition Award.
