Dr. Cookingham is a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist at the Piedmont Reproductive Endocrinology Group (PREG), a participating provider in the WINFertility Network.
Education and Certifications
Dr. Cookingham earned her medical degree at the University of Arizona. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Phoenix Integrated Residency Program and her fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. She is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and fellowship-trained in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
Prior to joining PREG, Dr. Cookingham practiced at the Center for Reproductive Health, part of the Kaiser Permanente health system in northern California. She established the center’s fertility preservation program and served as its director. She was also a clinical faculty member at the University of California, Davis, where she developed a reproductive endocrinology rotation for residents and received multiple awards for teaching. She and her family are new to the South and are looking forward to becoming part of the local community.
