Dr. Loughlin is a highly trained Reproductive Endocrinologist who is part of the fertility specialist team at University Reproductive Associates (URA), a participating provider in the WINFertility Network.
Education and Certification
Dr. Loughlin graduated from Connecticut College in New London, CT and received her medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at New York University Medical Center. Her subspecialty training fellowships, both in research and clinical reproductive endocrinology and infertility, were performed at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA.
She is double-board-certified in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility and Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Loughlin is an Associate Professor and Vice-Chair of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Women’s Health at UMDNJ – New Jersey Medical School in Newark and a staff physician at Hackensack University Medical Center.
She has 32 years of experience in treating those patients who require IVF, as she has long been involved in IVF programs, including as co-director of the first IVF program at Brown University’s Women and Infant’s Hospital in Providence, RI.
While serving as the Residency Director for the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Women’s Health at UMDNJ – New Jersey Medical School in Newark, Dr. Loughlin won numerous teaching accolades including the Excellence in Teaching Award from the Association of Professors in Gynecology and Obstetrics.
She specializes in polycystic ovarian syndrome, infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, reproductive endocrinology and minimally invasive surgery.
