Dr. Castelbaum is a board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist who is part of the fertility specialist team at RMA of Philadelphia and RMA of Central Pennsylvania, a participating provider in the WINFertility Network.
Education and Certification
Dr. Castelbaum received his medical degree from Washington University, and completed his residency training and postgraduate fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center.
Dr. Castelbaum is double board certified in OB/GYN and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

Dr. Castelbaum joined RMA of Philadelphia in 1994 and is one of two Co-Directors of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology with Temple University and an Assistant Professor, Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at Temple University.
Dr. Castelbaum has been honored with Patient’s Choice Award (2008-2012), Compassionate Doctor Award (2009-2012) and SuperDocs.
He has had over 22 articles published in the field of Reproductive Endocrinology. He is a member of the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, American Society of Reproductive Medicine(ASRM) and Philadelphia Are Reproductive Endocrinology Society.
He has been featured in Philadelphia Magazine and on The Discovery Channel and he also serves as a reviewer for the journals Fertility and Sterility and Human Reproduction.
