WIN in the Media

Jenna McCarthy M.D., WIN’s Medical Director, was featured in a Shape Magazine article titled Your Grandma Had a Mind-Blowing Role in Your Creation. Dr. McCarthy discusses in the article that a female produces her eggs while still in-utero, so your mom made the egg that turned into you, while your grandma was pregnant with your mom! Read more about what some are calling “womb-ception.”

Making a Difference

Patients on a fertility journey face many emotional challenges. WIN supports them through every step of the journey. It is also great to see so many WINners supporting each other – recently Toniann Palumbo and Geri Lewis were praised by patients for their help and dedication. We are proud of all of our WIN employees who continue to make a difference in patients’ lives each and every day!

WIN is Hiring

We currently have several positions open:

If you would like to refer someone, please send the Employee Referral Form (public HR folder) along with a copy of the candidate’s resume to HR to qualify for a referral bonus!

Surrogacy Awareness Month

March is Surrogacy Awareness Month. Surrogacy allows many couples and individuals to have a biological child when they otherwise could not – including women who cannot carry a pregnancy, single male parents-to-be and same-sex male couples. Most women choose to become a surrogate simply to be able to help others, but also from knowing someone who struggles with infertility or wanting to help a member of the LGBTQ community build their family. You can read more about the whys and hows of gestational surrogacy in the WIN blog!

Endometriosis Awareness Month

Endometriosis occurs when tissue similar to the uterine lining (endometrium) is found outside of its normal location. Affecting 1 in 10 reproductive-aged women, this can result in inflammation, abnormal or painful menstruation and infertility, among other symptoms. Treating the endometriosis can improve fertility symptoms, and assisted reproductive technologies such as IVF, IUI and surrogacy can help build a family. Learn more about endometriosis and how to be an advocate at The Endometriosis Foundation of America.

National Doctors' Day

National Doctors’ Day, March 30th, is a day to celebrate and recognize the contributions that our amazing physicians have made to patients’ lives and communities! We all know and work with physicians, who touch upon our lives when we are most in need of help. Let’s take this day to recognize all of our doctors, especially those on WIN’s Medical Advisory Board!
